Gym Etiquette

  1. Your body. Your choice.
There’s no one way to have a gym body. We’re all adults and know our bodies by now.  Do what feels right for you while listening to your holistic trainer about form and weight range.
  2. Rest is part of the program.
    Between sets, reps, workout days.
In groups, some like to chat, some need quiet, all fine.
  3. Find your why
Everyone comes to the gym for different reasons.  Don’t assume that you have the same goals as the person next to you nor do you know their story.
  4. Find your comfortable edge.
Try new things, new weight ranges WITHIN REASON.  You may be able to lift it up but you have the rest of your life to live and to work up to big weights if that’s your thing.
  5. Equipment
The gym is a shared space with clean lines.  Return everything to EXACTLY where you found it, it makes life easier for the next person.
